Matthew Stacey, Ruth Hill, Rui Domingoss and Sunil Rull, Flexible New Deal (FND)
Matthew, Ruth, Rui and Sunil all started Mandatory Work Related Activity on placement with the NEC ON 21 September 2010. They each undertook placements working as Kitchen Porters, working on events such as the Horse Of The Year Show and live concerts. Due to their high performance on placement, the NEC have offered all 4 employment. They each attended paid induction In October and are now being given their first shifts.

Ruth Hill said: "I was happy to get a placement with the NEC. And I tried very hard once on my placement to work hard and attend on time. I am over-the-moon that they have offered me work. I am so grateful to Agnieszka for giving me this opportunity".

Saniya Nadeem, LEAP
Before attending TBG I wasn’t aware of training providers and what they do to support people like myself. After losing my place at college I thought that it was too late to get into a college because I missed the September start. I met Tammy at Connexions in Broad Street where she told me I can still gain a Business Administraion qualification without going to college. I attended an interview and thankfully gained a place on the e2e programme.

I am so happy that I have come this far without going down the college route and I am very grateful for TBG helping me. I have nearly completed my Programme Led Apprenticeship and am deciding whether to continue at college doing a level 3 course or gaining employment in the business sector.
