City & Guilds Beauty Therapy

Are you aged 16 - 18?
Would you like to embark upon a new an exciting career?

TBG Learning's Beauty Therapy qualifications are for anyone interested in starting or advancing a Beauty Therapy career. You'll get the skills you need to be a successful beauty therapist, make-up artist or nail technician in a salon or spa, and develop essential skills like customer service, health and safety and how to work well in the salon environment.

The course covers…
• Manicures and hand care
• Day and night make-up
• Facials and skin care
• How to present a professional image in a salon
• Employability support.

Duration of course
LEAP is a 26 week programme of learning (16 hours per week). You will work towards your Beauty qualification as well as gaining functional skills qualifications in Maths, English and ICT.

TBG Learning can also offer you personalised advice and support to help you find a job or work placement. As for money, you can receive up to £30 a week Education Maintenance Allowance (EMA) when you have 100% attendance, plus paid public travel fare to and from your local TBG Learning centre.
