Employability Skills Programme
The Employability Skills Programme (ESP) is designed to increase customer's chances of finding regular and long term employment. Along with supported job searching activities and work placements, customers receive help to improve interview techniques, CV writing skills and employability skills. We can also help customers brush up on a variety of other skills that they may need in everyday life and gain qualifications.
 

Jobcentre Plus customers claiming benefits or credits.

Aged 18 or over and have literacy and/or numeracy and/or language needs.

ESOL courses give customers a better understanding of both written and spoken English. If English is not your first language then this course will give you more confidence in handling everyday situations such as dealing with employers, doctors or socialising.
 

Non EU citizens have to have been in the UK for at least three years, with exception to those with marriage visas who have to wait one year.
Refugees and Asylum Seekers eligability is dependant on circumstances.
