Employability Skills Programme The Employability Skills Programme (ESP) is designed to increase customer's chances of finding regular and long term employment. Along with supported job searching activities and work placements, customers receive help to improve interview techniques, CV writing skills and employability skills. We can also help customers brush up on a variety of other skills that they may need in everyday life and gain qualifications.	Eligibility This programme is for Jobcentre Plus customers claiming benefits or credits. Customers must be aged 18 or over and have literacy and/or numeracy and/or language needs.	Qualification(s) available - Literacy (Entry Level to Level 2) - Numeracy (Entry Level to Level 2)

Health & Safety This course covers basic health and safety in any working environment. It's a one day course that covers everything from legislation and risk assessments to lifting and handling, and hazardous substances.	Eligibility This courses is free to people who have been unemployed for six months or more and are in receipt of Jobseeker's Allowance (JSA).	Qualification(s) available Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH) certificate in Health and Safety in the Work Place

Food Hygiene This course is for anyone wanting to work in catering, manufacturing or a retail setting where food is prepared, cooked and handled. It's a one day course that covers everything from legislation to storing, temperature control and cleaning.	Eligibility This course is free to people who have been unemployed for six months or more and are in receipt of Jobseeker's Allowance (JSA).	Qualification(s) available Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH) certificate in Food Safety in Catering

Pre-Employment Training Specialist and intensive support over an 8-week period designed to get customers back into work. The course includes career advice, support from an employer engagement specialist and opportunities for work based learning through Train to Gain.	Eligibility This course is for anyone who has been unemployed for less than 12 months.	Qualification(s) available - Construction Skills Certificate Scheme (CSCS) - Health & Safety - First Aid - Food Hygiene - Security Industry Authority (SIA) - Employability skills course - Information Techonlogy (IT) certificate
