Health & Safety
This course covers basic health and safety in any working environment. It's a one day course that covers everything from legislation and risk assessments to lifting and handling, and hazardous substances.

Eligibility
This courses is free to people who have been unemployed for six months or more and are in receipt of Jobseeker's Allowance (JSA).

Food Hygiene
This course is for anyone wanting to work in catering, manufacturing or a retail setting where food is prepared, cooked and handled. It's a one day course that covers everything from legislation to storing, temperature control and cleaning.

Pre-Employment Training
Specialist and intensive support over an 8-week period designed to get customers back into work. The course includes career advice, support from an employer engagement specialist and opportunities for work based learning through Train to Gain.

This course is for anyone who has been unemployed for less than 12 months. |

LEAP (Learn, Earn and Progress)
LEAP is a 24 week programme of learning for young people that develops motivation, confidence, personal effectiveness and basic and key skills. This programme provides a range of opportunities to gain vocational qualifications, skills and understanding. On course completion customers can progress into a Modern Apprenticeship, further learning and/or a job. Customers can also receive up to £30 a week Education Maintenance Allowance (EMA) when they have 100% attendance, plus paid public travel fair to and from their local TBG Learning centre.

Eligibility
This programme is for anyone aged 16 -18 years old who has not achieved any qualifications in one or more of the following: English, Maths or Information Computer Technology (ICT), is unemployed and in no other education or training. |
