Philip Hyland, 17 years old, LEAP
When I first started at TBG I was really shy and didn’t really speak to anyone. My tutor helped me with my confidence and then I found it easier to talk to the rest of the group. The tutor supported me with my English and Maths so that I could take my exams and have some qualifications on my CV.
I am now going to an art course as I have a huge passion for writing poetry. In September I am going to Mid-Kent College so I can study Childcare so that in the future I can help children with disabilities.
I never would have imagined I would be going to college back when I started TBG. Thank You to everyone who has helped and supported me!
