NOCN Level 1 Hip Hop qualification


 

Independance, producer of the b.supreme Festival and the Dare2Dance training project is one of London’s most successful dance agencies. Specialising in the development of Hip Hop dance, joining up dance access, education, training and performance. Independence provides an uninterrupted pathway for young dancers and performers who want to go develop their skills.

In partnership with TBG Learning, Independance has devised a specialised NOCN Level One- Hip Hop Qualification. This will be a unique opportunity to learn from the UK’s most talented Hip Hop exponents, whilst gaining a valued qualification.

The programme will be led by Tashan Muir- Artistic Director and Choreographer of Unity Dance. Unity are the official SDI UK Champions, GWI UK Champs and IDO Official World Champions. b.girl Sunanda Biswas, a qualified gymnastics coach and international gymnast, has been Breaking since 1999, winning International competitions, most recently training and working with George Samson and performing for Madonna.

Dance classes include Hip Hop styles of Locking, Popping, House, Krump, Breakin and Street.

Duration of course
LEAP is a 26 week programme of learning (16 hours per week). You will work towards your Construction qualification as well as gaining functional skills qualifications in Maths, English and ICT.

TBG Learning can also offer you personalised advice and support to help you find a job or work placement.
