Introductory Certificate in Construction Skills


 

Built into the 26 week LEAP programme (for 16-18 year olds)

The Introductory Certificate in Construction Skills qualification has been designed to provide basic training for those seeking employment or knowledge in the construction industry, suitable for learners who have no previous experience or knowledge.

The programme provides basic understanding and skills which can lead into a suitable progression route either, Further Education or an Apprenticeship.

• NOCN Level 1 in Construction Skills
• Functional Skills in Maths/English/ICT
• NOCN Entry 3 Award in Progression
• NOCN Level 1 Award in Progression

Duration of course
LEAP is a 26 week programme of learning (16 hours per week). You will work towards your Construction qualification as well as gaining functional skills qualifications in Maths, English and ICT.
