Childcare
A career in child care is rewarding, enjoyable and extremely important. The first few years of a child's life are important to form a basis for good education, self-discipline and social integration. Most people who work in the sector love their jobs and look forward to going to work every day. Not only do you get to enjoy playing and having fun with children but you are also helping them to develop and learn. Children will use some of the skills they learn with you, such as how to get on with other children, for the rest of their lives. If you are interested in caring and educating children, then this course will help you to further develop your skills. Please be aware that a Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) checks will be required.

Each year the industry develops some of the most fashion forward apparel, inspired by some of the UK’s newest and youngest designers. If you see yourself in a career in fashion and would one day like to see your designs at London fashion week, then this course could be the start you need.

Construction
The Construction industry is a huge sector, employing over 2.2 million people within the UK. Construction is project based work and is essentially an exercise in teamwork and organisation. Work is carried out with many different specialists across the sector, as well as with clients and the general public. Most people in the industry enjoy the variety the work offers, as well as being able to get out and about, and often being able to see the finished product of their work.

Learndirect Skills for Life
Literacy and Numeracy
Cusomers who want to gain a Maths or English qualification to improve their written and/or number skills. Learndirect courses
help build confidence and skills.

This courses is open to anyone from the UK or the European Union – outside of this customers must have been a UK resident for the last three years (proof must be provided). Anyone on a spousal visa who has been a UK resident for a year.

New Deal for Disabled People (NDDP)
TBG Learning works closely with the Shaw Trust to deliver a programme for people who are disadvantaged in the labour market due to a disability. It aims to get 400 people into part or full time work through personalised support and assistance dependent on the needs and goals of the individual.
