Rabia Begum, 17 Years Old, Numeracy and Literacy
Before Joining TBG Learning I had very few qualifications and no GCSEs, in just seven months I completed level one and two in numeracy and literacy, I also completed a Clait (IT) course and have now gone on to do a customer service qualification within the fashion chain Burberry.
It was different from going to school or college because, it is a friendly and relaxed environment, where I felt I could work at my own pace, without having too much pressure put on me. |

Lee Reily, 18 years old, Programme Lead Apprenticeship
Before I started my Apprenticeship, I was predominately unemployed; As I didn’t like sitting around, I decided to enrol onto the Apprenticeship course at TBG Learning.
I started my placement as a Data Entry Clerk at River Habitat and after a few short months
I excepted a role as Web Administrator.
It didn't take long until I let my first property and since then I have been organising viewings,
drawing floor plans and taking photographs. I definately made the right decision to do an Apprenticeship as it has given me the opportunity to meet the great people at TBG Learning, make new friends and learn new skills, with the benefit of being able to work in an office environment. |

Yasir Rasheed, 19 years old, Programme Lead Apprenticeship
After finishing school I went on to Sixth Form College. Unfortunately I didn’t last very long in college and due to certain circumstances I soon dropped out. With no intention of going back to college I realised my type of learning would have to involve some hands on work.
I decided to join TBG Learning as I wanted another qualification around my belt to use as an advantage when applying for more jobs. After completing all coursework at ‘TBG’ I was sent on a work placement at Barts and the London NHS ‘HR’ recruitment team in Prescott Street. I had great interest in my work and developed a good friendship with my work colleagues, due to this they employed me as a temporary administrator for the NHS trust. |

Rochelle McMurtrie, 24 years old, Programme Lead Apprenticeship
My employment history is mainly in retail even though I've always had a passion to work in an Administrative role. I felt that the skills and knowledge I had gained in sales weren't enough to apply for the work I really wanted to do.
In 2009 I applied for a Business Administration Apprenticeship with TBG Learning, I successfully completed my training course and was given the opportunity to have some work expereince as an Administrator within a charted surveyors/commerical property consultants. This then led on to a job offer as an Excecutive Personal Asstistant of which I excepted.
My work experience has provided me with the confidence I needed to work effectively. In addition I have learnt how to communicate over the phone, arrange meetings, minute taking and write correspondence on behalf of the company. |

Ali Mohammed, 20 years old, Programme Led Apprenticeship
Before I started the Apprenticeship at TBG I was predominately unemployed, as I didn’t like sitting around, I decided to enrol on the Apprenticeship course at my local centre.
I started my placement as a data entry clerk at River Habitat Lettings. In a few short months I had progressed to web administration, handling enquiries & Database maintenance. Several months in, I let my first property and since then I have been doing viewings, drawing floor plans and taking photographs. At present, the bulk of my time is either spent doing the above or ensuring the property portfolio’s is EPC compliant and other duties relating to Property Management and Marketing alongside my initial role.
In short, the Apprenticeship course with TBG has enabled me to meet the great people at TBG, make new friends and learn new skills, with the benefit of being able to work in an office environment. |

Shahal Ahmed, 20 years old, Prgoramme Led Apprenticeship
Before enrolling onto the Business Administration Apprenticeship programme, I had just finished a course at another provider where I gained a Pitmans Bronze award as well as 6 weeks work experience. However I did not feel I had gained suitable qualifications to fulfil employment.
I came to TBG Learning to improve my employability skills. I attained OCR Clait Plus qualifications, completing ITQ projects and then by going on to a work placement.
The tutors at TBG are very approachable, they have given me all the support that I need to do the course as well as advice and guidance on life in general.
I am currently on placement, where I am getting some much needed work experience, as well as guidance to complete my Business Administration NVQ level 2.
Thanks to TBG Learning I have become more employable and have been given a great boost in confidence. I have enjoyed every moment at TBG and would recommend it to everyone.
I would like to thank my tutors and all the staff at TBG Learning for their support.
