1. ADT reaps rewards
TBG Learning are currently working with ADT, the country’s leading provider of fire and security alarm systems, to carry out a pilot programme of training/assessment for their staff within the Bristol branch.
The Midlands, Kent, Essex and London Employer Division’s have been involved in the training and assessment of ADT employees in the workplace to nationally recognised NVQ Level 2 and 3 qualifications, funded by the . Skills Funding Agency.
Over 600 employees have signed up to a range of NVQ courses, which include Team Leading, Management, Business Administration, Warehousing & Storage and Customer Service. So far around 70 employees have achieved their NVQs with some individuals working towards and completing additional qualifications, such as Literacy and Numeracy.
Due to the success of the programme, ADT’s intention is to expand the programme to other bases in Leicester, Birmingham and Manchester as well as throughout the south of England, with an estimated 1000 employees expected to sign up to the respective programmes.

To get over seventy employees through a qualification in just 4 months is a phenomenal achievement and shows how good they are.”
