e2e Animation Workshop
Monday 14th April 2008
Young learners, aged 16-18, at Barking’s TBG Learning Centre, recently participated in an animation film production sponsored by the Learning Skills Council, (LSC).
Sixty entry-to-employment, (e2e), youths who are on a state funded foundation course used variety of picture sources to make figures out of plasticine. These figures were manipulated and videoed, resulting in a contemporary film production, which reflected their attitude to the world at large, particularly tackling environmental and social issues. The end product was screened in front of all the learners, centre staff and managers. Frank Xavier, Centre Manager said, “ the LSC funded project was an outstanding success and boosted the confidence and self-beliefs of our learners” Joseph Adams, e2e learner said, “It was enlightening and very amusing, I loved it”
