Train to Gain NVQs
Train to Gain is a national government initiative available to employers to help support the development of their employees who do not qualify for Apprenticeships and are aimed at employees seeking to gain their first full Level 2 qualification. Staff can gain a nationally recognised NVQ qualification at level 2 designed and approved by businesses for businesses in a range of sectors. Train to Gain NVQs offer the opportunity for staff aged 25 plus to train and gain qualifications in their jobs.
TBG Learning work with employers to develop a personalised training programme for each employee and meet with line managers and staff regularly to monitor and review progress.
Each employee has a regular learning session in the workplace with a qualified TBG Learning Employee Development Specialist who gives the personal guidance and practical support required to progress them through each stage of their training programme.
Train to Gain NVQs take on average 7-8 months to complete depending on the qualification.
- John Flavell - Warehouse Manager Key Catering Plc
"A lot of the team had shied away from education but the style of delivery for the NVQ really switched them on and the fear of learning has gone. The individual coaching from TBG Learning and the reviews and praise in the workplace have inspired us. The team is so much more conscious of what they are doing in their job and why they are doing it and as a result they have become far more confident about their work. We're a closer and stronger team."
